MBR Integrated Sewage Treatment Equipment

Working Principle

After the sewage enters the biological reaction zone, the microorganisms in the activated sludge decompose organic matter through aerobic metabolism, remove pollutants such as COD and BOD, and simultaneously achieve nitrification and phosphorus removal and denitrification. The treated mixed liquid passes through a microfiltration or ultrafiltration membrane to intercept suspended matter, bacteria and macromolecular organic matter to achieve solid-liquid separation. The sludge intercepted by the membrane is returned to the biological reaction zone to maintain a high concentration of sludge, and the remaining sludge is discharged regularly.

Causes and solutions for fluctuations in effluent quality

(1) Microbial activity is impacted, such as toxic substances and temperature changes. It is recommended to monitor the influent water quality to ensure water quality stability;
(2) For reasons such as membrane damage, the integrity of the membrane components should be checked in time, and emergency carbon sources or nutrients should be added when necessary.
Sludge expansion or foaming

When the influent water quality changes, such as low sewage carbon-nitrogen ratio, or excessive surfactants, grease, etc. in the influent, sludge expansion or large amounts of foam will occur. It is recommended to add defoaming agents and adjust the ratio of nutrient sources in the influent (supplement phosphorus sources).
Membrane component pollution and blockage

When the sludge concentration in the pool is too high and dissolved organic matter accumulates, it will cause membrane pollution or blockage. It is recommended to perform chemical cleaning regularly and optimize the sludge concentration.
