Pleated filter media deep filtration combined with pulse cleaning. Dust-laden gas passes from the outside to the inside through the pleated filter media of the cartridge; dust is captured on the outer surface of the cartridge, and clean gas flows out through the central channel of the cartridge. The pulse-jet cleaning system injects air in reverse, shaking the pleated structure to dislodge dust into the collection device. The filtration area per unit volume is far greater than that of conventional filter bags.
Advantages: Extremely small footprint; large filtration area; high dust collection efficiency; easy installation and maintenance; low noise. Disadvantages: Poor temperature resistance (typically ≤120°C); high-humidity or oily dust can easily clog the cartridge; cartridge procurement cost is relatively high.
